What’s in store for you?

We’re looking forward to warm get-togethers and plenty of inspiring conversations with Piper fans from all over Europe. To make our fly-in a true highlight, we’ve put together a program that goes far beyond a simple “you could do this” - it’s more like a definite “you don’t want to miss this.”

Whether you want to kick back with cocktails in a Hawaiian shirt or you’re the type who likes to be up and doing something, there’s truly something for everyone at our fly-in!

You don’t fly a Cub to get somewhere fast — you fly it so you don’t have to hurry.

Here’s what’s in store!

Saturday - The event day

On Saturday, you get to choose between three different program options.

And if you’d rather take it easy - no problem! You can simply enjoy a relaxed Saturday and treat yourself at our coffee and cake buffet.

Oratex Workshop

The Piper rudder LTA is a hot topic in the community - and that’s exactly why we’re thrilled that Siegfried Lanitz and his team will be joining us in person at the Piper Fly-In. In their Oratex workshop, they’ll show you live how the covering system works, what options are available specifically for the rudder, and how you can apply it to your own aircraft.

On site, you’ll get to see "hands-on examples" of how Oratex is applied, the benefits of the system, and which steps are truly critical when covering your aircraft. No distant presentation—this is real, practical experience, right at the material itself.

In addition, Chris Lange and Teresa Staudinger will be on site with their “Baguette.” They’ll share their own experiences and be ready to answer any questions you have about covering your Piper - whether you’re currently restoring one yourself or just want to learn more about this covering system.

A workshop for everyone who wants to truly understand their aircraft and keep it in top shape for years to come.

Cub Cruise to Kufstein (LOIK)

Kufstein-Langkampfen Airport is one of our absolute summer favorites—and for good reason. Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Austrian Alps, it offers breathtaking views without the challenges of flying deep into the mountains. In Kufstein, you can look forward to genuine Austrian hospitality, a delicious local lunch, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

After landing, it’s time to stretch your legs: a short 20-minute walk takes you straight to the guesthouse. There, you can refuel, share some laughs, relax—and the fresh mountain air adds the perfect finishing touch to your dessert or puts the cherry on top of the Kaiserschmarrn.

The scenery around Kufstein is so stunning that we fly there regularly ourselves. Once you’ve been there, you’ll immediately understand why.

The schedule at a glance

  • Group Departure: After the briefing, we’ll take off together from EDML to LOIK.
  • Arrival & Enjoyment: A relaxed 15-minute walk to lunch.
  • Return Flight: We’ll head back to Landshut together.

Haven't had enough yet? If you want to continue flying or explore the area afterwards, go for it! There's lots of things to see and do around here.

For those who want to explore Landshut in more detail, we recommend the city tour at 2:00 PM:
