Arrival
Even though the traffic pattern in Landshut is pretty spacious, we want to give you a heads-up that there may be increased traffic around the airport and in the pattern during the Piper Fly-In. So please make sure to check in with Landshut Radio on 129.805 no later than five minutes before reaching the field.
Please follow the published traffic pattern and pay close attention to the surrounding villages. The attached map showing noise-sensitive areas was provided by Landshut Airfield for information purposes only.

Arrival / Fuel
We hope you’ve had a beautiful flight over the Bavarian countryside. If you need fuel, the fuel station on the north side of the airfield is available during regular opening hours. The easiest way to pay for your fuel (MOGAS / AVGAS / JET A-1) is directly at the fuel station using a credit or debit card. If you prefer, you can also pay the amount at the tower as well.
Landing Fee
The landing fee for your arrival — and for the optional flight to Kufstein — is already included in your registration fee. There’s no need to pay anything at the tower, so you can just taxi right on to the event.
Airplane parking
The fly-in area is located in the southern part of the airfield. You can find an overview on the map below. To reach the parking areas after landing, please taxi to the holding point for runway 24, cross the runway to the south, and follow the taxiway. Our marshallers will be waiting for you there. Please remember to bring your tie-down equipment.
Check-In
After you have taken care of your aircraft, please visit the welcome pavilion. There you can register, receive all the important information about the weekend, and a small welcome surprise.
Camping at the aircraft
If you would like to camp right beneath your aircraft, please indicate this when registering. This will allow us to accommodate you in the appropriate parking area, ensuring you have short distances to the sanitary facilities.
