We’re excited to welcome you to the Fly-In! And since not only your aircraft needs a safe tie down, but you also deserve a cozy “home base” for the night, we’ve put together some great hotel and camping options. We’ve picked out three hotels for you — or, if you’d rather stay close to your plane, you can camp right underneath the wing and the Bavarian sky.
Transfer & Shuttle Service
To make your stay as stress-free as possible, we offer a shuttle service from the airport to the hotels listed below.
The shuttle is currently scheduled to run from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 12:00 PM (subject to change).
Please note: We’re only able to offer shuttle service to the hotels on our recommended list.
As much as we'd love to bring you to the hotel in style in a Ford F-1 – for organizational reasons you'll have to take our shuttle buses this time.
Hotel and Country Inn Hutzenthaler
Hotel Hutzenthaler in Bruckberg is within walking distance (approx. 20 minutes) of Landshut Airport and offers pleasant Bavarian accommodation. Also our shuttle service is available, running every 20 minutes between the hotel and the airfield in the morning and in the evening.
Parking is available at the hotel. The combination of a quiet location, easy arrival, and comfortable rooms makes the hotel particularly suitable for participants seeking comfortable accommodation near the airfield.

Ibis Landshut City
The Ibis Landshut City is located in the heart of Landshut, just a few minutes from the main train station — making it perfect for anyone interested in exploring the city’s cultural sights.
A shuttleservice is provided, running every 90 minutes in the morning (before the program starts) and in the evening (after it ends) between the hotel and the airport.
For guests arriving by car, parking is available (some spaces may be subject to a fee), and pets are welcome as well. Overall, the hotel is especially suited for participants looking for a central, convenient, and comfortable place to stay in the city of Landshut.

Camping & Tent Stays by the Aircraft
For those arriving by motorhome or RV: Unfortunately, there are no hookups available directly at the airfield. Please send us a short message when you register so we can plan your stay together.
Those staying in tents should select the "Camping with tent" option during registration. For all campers, the Gammelsdorf Gliding Youth offers a hearty breakfast in the Flieger-Stadl hangar for an additional €10 per person per day (please reserve in advance to simplify planning for our young fellows).
A contribution of €10 per person per weekend ensures that clean toilet and shower facilities are available to you throughout the weekend – to start a relaxed flying day.
